Our design fee is ₹100 per sq ft of carpet area. A 950 sq ft 2BHK is ₹95,000; a 1,200 sq ft 3BHK is ₹1.2 lakh. That covers the complete design, the full-scale model you walk through, and drawings any carpenter can build from.

A 2BHK built for ₹6 lakh gets the same design, model and drawings as one built for ₹50 lakh. Only the products change. We design whole homes, not single rooms.
Interior design fees on a budget: ₹100 per sq ft of carpet area
Multiply your carpet area by 100. That's the fee for designing your whole home.
Carpet area is usually 70 to 80% of the super built-up area on your agreement. A flat sold as 1,200 sq ft is often 850 to 950 sq ft of carpet, and we charge on the smaller number. Bring your floor plan and we'll work it out together.
The fee covers the layout of every room, every product chosen with a brand and a code, a list with a link to buy each one, the full-scale model, the drawings and one site visit. You pay 50% to book and 50% after sign-off, plus GST. Products and carpentry are separate. You pay for those directly, and only after you've seen them at full size. See pricing in detail.
What is a reasonable budget for a 2BHK or 3BHK interior in Bangalore?
For a mid-market flat, a lean but complete build starts around ₹5 to 7 lakh for a 2BHK and ₹8 to 11 lakh for a 3BHK. Without cutting corners, most families spend ₹7 to 10 lakh and ₹11 to 16 lakh. That is on top of the design fee.
Lean gets you a laminate kitchen, laminate wardrobes with lofts, a false ceiling in the living room only, painting and the wiring you need. Typical adds ceilings in the bedrooms, a TV unit, better hardware, one acrylic or PU finish and loose furniture. Neither includes appliances or curtains.

Add the design fee to your bracket. A lean 950 sq ft 2BHK at ₹6 lakh, plus ₹95,000 for the design, comes in under ₹7 lakh. The kitchen and wardrobes usually take half the budget or more, so that's where good decisions count most.

On a tight budget, every rupee lost to a mistake is a rupee that never makes it into your home. And most of that money goes after the materials arrive: things made twice, weeks of paying rent on a home that sits half-finished, compromises you live with because fixing them costs too much. Everyone wants cheap and best, and the two usually pull against each other. The way to get both: pay for the design, which has to be right, and buy everything else at market price.
The package route
One firm designs, makes and fits everything for a single price. The design is free or bundled in, so the firm earns on materials and making, and changing a laminate changes the price. You approve 3D views, and the kitchen comes from a factory that has never seen your kitchen.
The design-only route
You pay for the design: ₹100 per sq ft of carpet area. You walk through the model, sign off, and get the drawings and a product list with a brand, code and link for every item. Your own carpenter builds from the drawings, and you buy each item at the vendor's price. Get two carpenters to quote on the same drawings.
We take no margin or commission on materials or vendors. You pay our fee, and the vendor's price to the vendor, and every item on the list links to where you can check that price. Two things not to cut corners on: measurements, which we take ourselves on the site visit included in the fee, and a dry fit of the kitchen boxes before they're fixed, while a wrong size still costs nothing to correct.
