Who the consultation is for
Anyone with a home in Bengaluru to design: 1BHK and 2BHK flats, 3BHK and 4BHK+ apartments, villas. Homes still under construction, homes about to be handed over, homes you already live in. If you have any Vastu preferences, tell us at the beginning and we plan the home around them. We design whole homes, not single rooms, so if one room is all you want done we will tell you on the call rather than take the booking. Outside Bengaluru is not available yet, so if the home is elsewhere, the honest answer is that we cannot help for now.
What happens in the 45 minutes
You see a finished home from the inside
On Google Meet we share the screen and walk you through one of our past projects: open the wardrobes, change the finish, switch the lights, see the room at different times of day. At the studio you put on the headset and stand in the same home at actual size, or walk through it with your family on the big screen. Either way you are looking at a model built from real products, the same kind of model we would build for your home.
We understand what you want from your home
Most of the time goes here. How you live in the home and what you want it to do better: where the family gathers, who works from home, what storage keeps running out, what you want to keep from where you live now and what you never want to see again. The finishes and styles you are drawn to, and the ones you are not. What you have seen in other homes that you liked. Anything that matters to you, from a bigger kitchen to Vastu to a reading corner. Bring the floor plan if you have one and we talk about your actual rooms, not rooms in general. The basics take two minutes at the start: which flat, when you get possession, how many of you. The rest is a conversation about how you want to live, not a form.
You ask anything
The questions that usually come up: how the fee works and what it comes to for your home; what is included and what is not; how long it takes; whether we build; how the drawings work with a contractor you already have; whether Vastu can be planned in; and whether the products are really buyable. All of these have straight answers, and you get them on the call.
You leave with a clear picture and no proposal to sign
You know what the design would cost for your home, worked out with you on the call. You know the steps from booking to drawings. You know what you would get from us and what you would buy yourself. We do not put a proposal in front of you at the end. Go home, think, come back if you want to.
Online interior design consultation, or a visit to the Whitefield studio?
Online
Google Meet gives you the walkthrough on screen, from wherever you are, with no travel. We share the model, walk you through the finished home and answer everything, in the same 45 minutes. It is a good first step if you are still deciding whether this is for you, or if Whitefield is a long way from where you live. Everything except the headset works online.
At the studio
The studio gives you two things a screen cannot. The headset puts you inside the bedroom at actual size: you walk across the floor, look up at the false ceiling, open the wardrobe. And the big screen lets the whole family walk through together and see the same thing at the same time, which is how a decision gets made once instead of three times.
Who should come, and what to bring
Who should come
Everyone who will decide on the home. If your partner, your parents or your children will have a say in the wardrobe or the kitchen, it saves weeks if they see the same thing you see, at the same time. The big screen at the studio is there for exactly that. If not everyone can make it, come anyway; you can bring the rest to a second visit.
What to bring
None of it is required. If you have none of it, come anyway. The name of the project and a rough possession date are enough for a first conversation.
After the consultation
Nothing is expected of you. Come back for more walkthroughs, bring the people who could not make the first one, ask the questions you thought of on the way home. We keep answering until you are sure, and there is still nothing to pay and nothing to sign. One call is rarely enough for a decision this size, and we would rather you took two.
When you are ready, a 50% booking amount confirms the project and we start work. What follows:
Mood-board
We sit down for a discussion and mood-boarding session about how your family actually lives.
Layout
We turn that into a layout with reference images and go back and forth until the plan and the big pieces are right.
Model
We build your whole home as a full-scale model and you walk through it, changing what you want in minutes.
Drawings
You sign off, pay the remaining 50%, and receive contractor-ready drawings and the product list.
Typically three to five weeks from booking to drawings; as little as a week if you already know exactly what you want. The process, step by step.
Common questions
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. Nothing to pay, nothing to sign, and no follow-up pressure. It costs us 45 minutes; it costs you nothing. If you want a second visit with the family, that is free too.
Do I need to have bought my flat?
No. Many people come while the home is still under construction or about to be handed over, and some come for a home they already live in. A floor plan or the builder's brochure is enough to talk through the possibilities. The site visit for measurements happens later, after you book.
Can I do it online?
Yes. Pick Google Meet when you book and we walk you through a finished home on screen, from wherever you are. Everything except the headset works online. The headset walkthrough is only at the studio, and it is worth a visit once you are curious.
Will you quote on the call?
Yes. The fee is your carpet area multiplied by ₹100, so a 1,200 sq ft flat is ₹1.2L, with GST added on the invoice. Carpet area is usually 70 to 80% of the super built-up figure on your agreement, and we work it out with you. There is no proposal to sign; you take the number home.
